how to schedule a text on iphone Fix Guide

Users often look for a built-in feature to schedule messages directly within the iPhone's Messages app, similar to scheduling emails. However, direct message scheduling is not a native function of the Messages app on iOS.

Troubleshooting Steps

You can achieve a scheduled text using the Shortcuts app as a workaround:

  1. Open the Shortcuts app.
  2. Navigate to the Automation tab.
  3. Tap the + icon and choose Create Personal Automation.
  4. Select a trigger, such as Time of Day, and set your desired sending time. Tap Next.
  5. Tap Add Action, search for "Send Message," and select it.
  6. Enter the recipient and the message content.
  7. Tap Next.
  8. Review the automation. Note that for sending messages, iOS usually requires a final tap to confirm sending for security.
  9. Tap Done.
