Florida Beach Finder ("the App") helps you find the best Florida beaches based on live public data. We respect your privacy and collect as little information as possible.

Information We Collect

• Location (optional): If you grant permission, the App uses your device location while the App is in use to sort beaches by distance and show "Best Beach Near You." Location is processed on your device and is not stored on our servers.
• Onboarding preference: A local setting on your device indicating whether you have completed the first-launch tutorial.

Information We Do Not Collect

• No account or sign-in required
• No analytics or advertising identifiers
• No personal data sent to our servers (we do not operate backend servers for this App)
• No sale of personal data

Third-Party Data Sources

The App fetches public beach and weather data from:

• Florida Healthy Beaches (Florida Department of Health)
• NOAA National Weather Service (Miami beach forecast)
• Open-Meteo (weather and marine API)

When the App requests this data, your IP address may be logged by those services under their own privacy policies. We do not control third-party data practices.

Children

The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
